The RG-ES228GS-LP is a 1U rack-mount smart PoE switch designed for IP surveillance, SMB networks, and wireless AP deployments. It combines 24 Gigabit PoE+ access ports with a flexible 4-port uplink configuration (2 x RJ45 + 2 x SFP) for resilient backhaul.

Intelligent PoE for CCTV & APs
Every access port supports IEEE 802.3af/at and can deliver up to 30W per port, drawing from a total system PoE budget of 250W. A dedicated CCTV mode extends PoE reach up to 250 metres over Cat6 cable at 10 Mbps - useful when cameras are positioned beyond the standard 100 m Ethernet limit.

Cloud-Based Management
Management is flexible: local web GUI, Reyee App, or remote configuration through Ruijie Cloud. VLAN, QoS, loop detection, storm control, port isolation, and PoE scheduling/reboot are all available with no licensing fees.

Reliability & Protection
4 kV lightning surge protection on every port safeguards the switch in environments with outdoor-run cable. The fanless-friendly chassis has a low noise profile and is suitable for office and light commercial spaces.
